From council teams, to community organisations and local people, we're here to support people across our borough. Here’s how different groups can get involved and benefit:
Local people
We want everyone in our borough, especially those who are from underserved communities, to live a healthier, fairer life. By listening to real lived experiences and using stronger evidence for change, we will improve council and community policies, practices and services – especially for people who face the biggest challenges.
Community researchers
We train local people to become community researchers. They collect stories and insights from others in their neighbourhoods – and help the council and community groups understand the real challenges people face and take action to improve their policies, practices and services.
Community groups and Ealing Council
We offer training and support to staff across the council and in local community groups. We help teams learn how to gather and use evidence well – so they can improve policies, practices, and services, and unlock funding to do more for local people.
University researchers
We support university researchers – people who study real-world issues to help find better solutions – to work closely with council staff, community groups, and local people. Together, they focus on local research priorities to better understand the needs of the borough’s communities and how the council can support them more effectively.
