23 September | Inclusive evaluation: capturing every voice
How can we ensure every child and young person can share their experiences and be heard?
Inclusive evaluation offers practical ways to gather meaningful feedback from children and young people whose voices are often missed by traditional methods. Drawing on the work of Flamingo Chicks, this webinar will explore sensory, tactile and participatory approaches that make evaluation more accessible, engaging and inclusive.
In this session, we will:
- explore why traditional evaluation approaches do not work for everyone
- share practical techniques for capturing every voice
- consider how inclusive evaluation can become part of everyday practice
- discuss ethical approaches to using photography and AI to capture impact
- reflect on how these methods could be applied in participants’ own work
Katie Sparkes MBE will share examples and learning from an approach co-developed with disabled children and young people and shaped by professionals across healthcare, education, social care and evaluation.

24 June | Understanding the English Indices of Deprivation (IMD)
The English Indices of Deprivation is a data set providing a national picture of deprivation. It ranks every small area in England according to its level of deprivation across 7 domains such as income, employment, health, and education. Updated in October 2025, they offer valuable insight into local and national patterns.
This webinar will:
- explain what the Indices of Deprivation are and how they are produced
- share key insights for the Borough of Ealing from the latest data
- explore how the data can be used in practice
