Being healthy isn’t only about healthcare or not being ill. Our health is shaped by the everyday conditions of our lives – the things that make it easier or harder to feel well, stay well, and live well.

Our funder

We are funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). They have invested £150 million in 30 HDRCs across the UK to help councils do more and better research.
