Community of practice

We are building a community of practice  – a space where people working on similar challenges can share learnings, ideas and support.

About our community of practice

Our community of practice brings people working across the borough together. It’s a collaborative space for members to come together and discuss research and evaluation.

It’s a space to build confidence, deepen understanding, and foster a shared culture of learning, no matter your level of experience.

It’s open to anyone working at Ealing Council and the voluntary/community sector in the Borough of Ealing interested in improving their use of evidence and research practice – to strengthen the building blocks of health.

The community of practice meets online every Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00pm.

Informal drop-in sessions

Held on the first three Wednesdays of each month, these sessions are an open, supportive space where members can:

  • share insights and practical experiences
  • discuss challenges in their work
  • learn from one another
  • seek advice from our team

Monthly webinars

Held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, these sessions focus on a specific research or evaluation topic and include:

  • contributions from guest speakers
  • opportunities for discussion and peer learning
  • exploration of new tools, methods, and ideas

Joining the community of practice

Our community of practice is open to anyone working at Ealing Council and people working across the voluntary and community sector in the borough who want to build their confidence in using evidence and research in their work and strengthen the building blocks of health

Members receive regular invitations to our weekly drop-in sessions and monthly webinars.
